This voice-over-IP company wanted to use a frog, which symbolizes good fortune in some cultures. Used Adobe Illustrator to stylize a frog and Bordini for the base font. Doesn't Bordini have a wonderful lower case g? A style/usage guide was also provided for various applications of the logo. (No frogs were harmed in the creation of this logo.)
Coming up with a defining logo for a university community forum proved to be no easy task, especially when designing for a committee. After weeks of revisions they decided on this one. You can see the application on the link below the image. The user-submitted photo banner was my idea.
They already had a logo but it had a very 70's sort of bent to it. Redesigned to reflect more of the Northwest attitude with a view familiar to anyone who has sailed in the San Juan Islands.
